Slacker

I am a slacker. As you can see, I haven’t updated in a while. So long, in fact, that I just noticed my main page was completely blank because I hadn’t posted anything in over a week. I decided to change the template to show the last 15 posts instead. Of course, a number of people at my office would agree with me on the subject of this post right about now, but that’s a situation I just don’t want to go into at the moment, because it will just make me angry, and I’m all about the warm fuzzies right now.

Posting slowdown explanation

Sorry for the posting slowdown, guys. I’ve been really busy working on PALADIN the past few days. It’s actually writing customers to the database and allowing comments now. Ticketing and searching is up next. Yesterday I set it up so that it has a custom icon that I think is pretty spiffy — have a look:

Now that’s synergy!

I just love the way that using Microsoft Outlook Web Access via Microsoft Internet Explorer for any length of time will eventually cause IE to crash.

iPod ripoff

Question: What do you get when you take an Apple iPod, change the colors on its UI, switch out AAC support for WMA, then try to sell it as something groundbreaking?
Answer: this.

Horrible atrocity

Yesterday was a sad day for me, as both a native of the Pittsburgh area and a lover of processed meat of all kinds.

No posts today (kind of)

There will be no posting today, because today kicked my butt. A marathon session at the dentist’s, followed by dealing with more irritating issues than you can shake a cluestick at. I hardly got to do anything towards making PALADIN write customer info to the database as was planned for today. Here’s hoping tomorrow is better.

Miscellany

You guys may have noticed the return of a calendar similar to the slick one I had on the old layout. I kinda like it. What do you think? In other news, I recently started playing Medievia again, and gooselady has joined me. Look out, world. Fear our newbie power.

The Matrix Reloaded, IMAX-style

Yesterday we took a drive with the newlyweds up to Indy to catch The Matrix Reloaded at the IMAX theatre there. You haven’t seen TMR until you’ve seen it on that huge screen. Very cool. Thanks for the invite, guys. :)
